Kite Explorers

Our Explorers are some of the best in the Country. Lots of our members have gained the highest possible award and become a Queen’s Scout. Our members have climbed high mountains, travelled the world, volunteered to help others and gained new skills for their own life.

Lots of our Explorers train to become leaders themselves through our Young Leader scheme. You can choose which night you would like to join, both nights run the same programme.

  • Monday Explorers – meet at the scout hut near Manor Park school from 7:30pm until 9pm
  • Wednesday Explorers – meet at the scout hut on Hall Bank in Mobberley from 7:30pm until 9pm

For those who want to gain awards along the way, there are plenty of opportunities to get those shirts covered in badges! There are three progressive levels of programmes which, when successfully completed, lead to a bronze, silver or gold award. Young people create their own  DofE programme by choosing volunteering, physical and skills activities, going on an expedition and, for their gold only, taking part in a residential activity.
